Can a Parathyroid condition (Hypeparathyroidism) cause hair loss?

I think anytime your thyroid is off balance hair loss can be experienced.

I started loosing my hair a couple months ago.
I was diagnosed hypothyroid a little over a week ago.
My dr. did some other test to make sure there was nothing else going on but as of now my hair loss points to my thyroid.
I'm starting to have some regrowth,I've been on synthroid for over a week.The regrowth is very slow,and I am still shedding just not as bad.I think my meds will need to be adjusted and I'm praying that helps get my thyroid on track & all my hair comes back!

I believe the answer is yes. I know what the parathyroid is.. it's a hair loss lead I was chasing, since the Calcium in my blood runs high. But in my case I am not high in the parathyroid hormone, which would indicate a problem.. have been diagnosed with hyperparathyroid?

I believe I've seen hair loss listed as a symptom of it, but I can't tell you the source, off the top of my head.

Thyroid is the main cause of hair loss, i had problem with my thyroid for the past 20 years, i took synthroid for over 14 years now, am off of it for the past 4 months, ive been working out everyday and watch what i eat, and that helped a lot in making my thyroid the same level for the past 4 months, hopefully i get my hair back again since i stoped taking synthroid for over 4 months now , and with the help of rogaine , am keeping my fingers crossed
