Does anyone else think J-Lo wears a wig or topper of some sort. Not extensions but a wig/topper? I just think these pictures show something especially as in the third pic down her hair is much more longer.

Hi Sadie

It does look a little odd at the hairline. I haven't seen her real hair (if that is not her hair) to know if her hairline is normally like that or not. It seems at the front like there is almost a linear area (like the edge of something). She could be wearing a lace wig I guess.

I don't know about the hair but the catsuit definitely distracts from it.

I've always thought she had a weird hairline, even before I was a hair nut. What is going on with her hair in the bottom pic? It looks like it has slipped back. But really I just think she has thick hair and if she adds any it is probably underneath.

Here is a pic of a Beyonce lacefront. The evil pointing out of lip hair is not done by me.

Edit: Can't get the size right so here is a link instead:

Re Beyonce, someone once posted here awhile ago....that Beyonce has a million dollar wig collection. It's doubtful that the public has ever seen her real hair. Ironic, how she's the spokes person for Feria hair dye! Perhaps her hairstylist uses Feria to dye her wigs? :) Doubtful....

It's a given that hair she was shaking around during her Grammy performance was also a wig, with LOTS of glue.

Supplemental hair is so prevalent in show business, most celebrities, and that includes men, are wearing some type of supplemental hair or at least some scalp cover product. It's acceptable, you also have to figure, those actresses ALL can't have perfect thick lush hair....down to their waists no less?

I was recently going through some old issues of VOGUE from the 1960s. British model Jean Shrimpton, who had gorgeous bio hair, even wore wigs in many of her photo shoots.

Even if there's no HL involved, we all know wigs are used to transform actresses and actors into their characters.

I was wondering if Sandra Bullock dyed her hair blond for her last movie, it was probably a wig, dyeing such thick dark hair blond, has to cause a lot of damage. Wigs today are so realistic, there's no reason to damage your hair for a movie role.

I was flipping channels last night, Jennifer Lopez was in a movie called "Angel Eyes". Her hair was blond and didn't look thick like her bio hair usually does, it was probably a wig. I didn't keep the movie on long enough to really look!

I was watching something the other day, I think it was a movie or some TV show on the Sleuth channel. One actor's hairline looked very odd, as if some scalp cover was used, it wasn't blended very well. He had black hair so it was obvious.

I'm sure none of us would be noticing ANY of this had we not been having our own hair loss issues. Personally, I've NEVER looked at, let alone scrutinized, other people's hair so intently....until I started losing my own....

apparently j-lo has a room in her miami home that is exclusively for her wigs. I wish I had that much hair.

I heard that too. So she more than likely is wearing wigs in some (or all) of those pictures.

That makes me feel better.

I get all green eyed with envy when I see women who seem to have won the genetic lotto, like Heidi Klum.

It seems like I need to choose between my weight and my hair. My weight goes down effortlessly when my hormones are shifted one way, but my hair sheds like mad! Then when my hormones shift another way, my hair slows down (but doesn't stop mind you) and my weight skyrockets!

Sorry for venting on this thread. I just stepped on the scale this morning and was shocked. Looks like I've got some hard core work ahead of me.... Sigh. (hubby is happy with my higher weight boobs though, so I guess it's not all bad. lol!)

Yes, it's a topper-the hairline is very thick and unreal and the hair is more dense and wavy than her hair in her "early" days. The outfit she is wearing is so beyond the bounds of attractive that I can only hope she gets over this phase soon. She's a very lovely looking person and I have always admired her for the way she maintained her career and got over obstacles.
