Hi Samantha,

My hair is starting to grow back on my head, and a little on my arms and face. Yes, it is fine and white!

I guess it might change color?? I was naturally dark blonde. Last time I had hair it was still dark blonde. I started out with AA, which progressed to AU, which grew back then went to AU again.

I have found that my bald spots tend to "rest" for 6 month or a year then start to grow back. I am using topical steriod cream which seems to help.

Anyway, nothing on my legs which is OK with me.

I have AT (well other than a little patch of regrowth on my head), and yes my head is covered in fine white hair.

My dad has had AU for over 30 years, and I just noticed he has them on his head too. Not nearly as much as me, but he has many little fuzzy hairs.

I've had AU for about 4 years, 2 years ago it all started growing back, began with white fuzz then eventually it was thick black hairs on my head, I was shaving so I could still fit my wig on comfortably.
However it all fell out just after it all became thick and brown, because of depression I think. I had a lot happen within one month and the hair fell out pretty quickly after that.

Getting fuzz everywhere again so hoping will go better this time!!

Hey guys,

I had AA which has progressed to AU. My head is covered in the fine white hair. Does that mean that it will progress to real hair? How long does this normally take? I've just recently lost my eyebrows and eyelashes :( (along with everything else *sigh*)

In wonderland: how hard must it have been for it to fall out again?

Jeaniebug & Samantha07: has your hair regrown?

iinane:

The fine white hairs are not a sign of terminal hair regrowth, unfortunately.

I lose chunks of eyelashes at a time and then they regrow, but nothing else regrows.

I have "peach fuzz", or fine light hairs on my head....sometimes there is more than others, but I haven'r had any major regrowth in the 15 years since I lost my hair (wow I just did that math and realized that I've spent more than half my life without hair...crazy).
