I used to french my limp hair wet and sleep with it overnight so it was wavy in the morning. My hair is so fine and limp that it does not hold curls. Plus, it only has layers near bottom.

I do not want to get more hair loss from french braiding my hair. I was wondering if you knew of any other methods to make my hair wavy. I tried those hot crimpers (spelling?) but it looks like unnatural waves in my hair.

Im not sure, but when I was at sally I saw those rollers u leave on over night. Would that work. Also, I have seen something that is like a flat iron, but it makes ur hair wavy, almost like a crimper, but not.

this is almost a month late

BUT

section your hair into three ponys... when your hair is wet, put whatever styling product you use in it...then loosely ballerina bun it and bobby pin. the buns should be kind of high on your head (so you can sleep). Voila, wavy hair...
