So I always had scary long eyelashes. i will admit i was constanly stopped and people would always say WOW your lashes are long.. are they real? Believe it or not even though my HEAD hair is crap and always was crap... i had big cow eyelashes the were thick and curled all the way up to my EYE BROWS with one coat of mascara and. i never had to touch one of those eyelash curling thingys I see girls use.

So It's all good until this past year. They thinned out but no problem I just double up with to coats of mascara and i'm good to go. :dunno: UGHHHHH Now they apparantly are not growing long anymore. yes they are normal now so why complain. but I'm just forcasting that if i have way less now then NONE is going to be coming soon if my head hairloss is anyindication. plus it all hapened fast.

So now i ordered my Latisse(it should arrive tomorow according to tracking). I also just purchased this heated lash curler to see if it makes any difference. i haven't used it yet but i guess i'll give it a try. It's made by REVLON.

SIGHHHHHH if i can't have hair on my head it would be nice to at least have my eyelashes back to looking like a street walker with a make-up issue. i feel like it might distract from my stupid BIO HAIR issues :jump:

So after that long stupid story.. i guess i want to know if anyone tried the HEATED lash curlers and did they work????

I used to use lash curlers as a teenager. My lashes have always been longer than average...nothing near as nice as yours, though. :-) But I had a hard time getting them to curl and they'd poke against the lenses of my glasses, so I'd curl them. They worked well enough (you always curl before applying mascara, BTW...learned that once the hard way) but I had trouble pinching my darn eyelids, too. Lordy, that hurt.

BTW, the problems you're noticing with your eyelashes? I'm having similar problems with my eyebrows. I used to have to tweeze those darn things at least once, twice a week. Now I find myself only removing a few stray hairs once or twice a month...and in the past year I've had to start using pencil to fill them in and darken them up. I'm sure this has something to do with the fact that my bio hair is also graying at a rapid rate. Sigh....

The new heated ones are suppose to be used AFTER you apply mascara and don't SQUEEZE the lash. You do it a few minutes after you use mascara and swoop out and up. it is supposed to warm the mascara and make it remold or something :dunno:
