it is often accompanied by a plethora of bad feelings, such as anger, depression,
loneliness and confusion. |

What Can Be Done?
One thing that could possibly help the emotional aspect of alopecia is going
to a live support group. A support group can offer emotional and social support,
opportunities for people to discuss common experiences, lectures and workshops
among other things.
 There is a Women's
Androgenetic Alopecia Support Group in San Francisco, California.
It is located at the Cal Pacific Medical Center Women's Resource Center
at:

San Francisco, CA 94118
And meets at 7:00 PM on every 3rd Wednesday of even
numbered months
There are other support groups for alopecia worldwide which are run by the
National Alopecia Areata Foundation
