    Hi,
I've had a big shed during my latest period, as in touch my scalp and hairs fall out of my head. I have chronic sebopsoriasis which complicates things and hormone inbalance around my period (in perimenopause and have night sweats at 40...fun times). Also, supplementing hormones (oral micronized progesterone + topical estriol) and herbal (saw palmetto + black cohosh). Can't take b vitamins due to some genetic predisposition which causes extreme depression. Anyone in a similar situation? Any solutions other than ride it out... minimize touching the hair and hope that I won't bald this time??

Yes before I started taking the pill continuously, around that time of the month I always lost a ton more hair than usual.. but that was after I noticed I had hairloss, so I’m not sure if it was always like that, or after my Androgenetic Alopecia kicked in. Certainly the period/shedding thing is real.
