Can we put together an effort for Androgenetic Alopecia hair loss trials for women?

I already posted this on other boards here, but wanted to really spread the word, because we need as many women as possible:

I think it is a real problem that the focus of hair loss research is mostly on men. I read somewhere today that the average age of hair loss onset for a woman is now 34. This is a real problem, and it seems like a lot of women are having to deal with this problem.

What's really frustrating to me is that the hairloss treatment research would likely be more effective in women than in men. If you look at Histogen's results, for example, their results in men were merely adequate, where their results in women were amazing. But their official trials right now are all for men. So basically, it's RIGHT there, and it WORKS, and nothing is really being done to bring it to us.

So it seems to me that if we want a solution to female Androgenetic Alopecia, we are the ones that need to do something. If we flood the companies' inboxes, and find wealthy people who would be willing to invest in these companies specifically on the condition that their investment goes ONLY towards female trials, that could really do something for all of us. There are female celebrities who are struggling with hair loss as well, so maybe they'd be willing to help.

Histogen has mentioned female trials a few times, but it's never really come to fruition. I emailed them back in 2010, and she responded saying they were in talks about a female study, but it's 3 years later and nothing has really been done. Even once they start the trials, it will take a couple of years minimum for it to get onto the market even in other countries.

I know we're all busy, but any woman who has Androgenetic Alopecia and is upset often because of this would probably agree that it's worth a few minutes a day of tweeting celebrities and/or sending emails if we can really get companies like Histogen to start focusing on us. Think about getting your hair back in the next few years, how great that would be. Would anyone be willing to get on board with a collective effort like this? And does anyone have any ideas?

    Anyone respond?

I am on board to help with this. How can we get started?

I'm not interested in emailing celebrities etc but I would happily contribute emails to relevant companies in order to show them there's demand out there for female studies (heck if the stuff works I would love to be a test subject!)
