Hi There, I have been getting minoxidil from the Belgravia center in London forth past 14 months at first i noticed a bit of difference but evr since i feel like my hair is actually thinner. I am scared to stop using it for fear that i will shed much more .Can somebody please tell me there experiences with stopping minoxidil ?
Yes you will see a difference You can get 5% minoxidil from regaine for around £50 for 4 cans of once a day foam - they say it’s a 4 month supply I’ve been using this and it’s made a difference so far
I stopped it and then roughly 2 months later I began Spironolactone. My shred when I stopped wasn't as bad as the shred when I began, but don't know if that's because of the Spironolactone.
I used rogaine for 4 months and while my shed was high I did notice lots of hair growth. I stopped using it because I noticed my skin looked really dull and my pores were huge. My skin has recovered but my hair is back to baseline, in fact even a little worse.
I am still on the 4 percent from the Belgravia center 100.00 per month and also i notice i have bags under my eyes .I think my hair is actually worse since i have been using Minoxidil o be honest and i really wanna just stop it but i am terrified that i will loose more hair .
Hi! Don't know if you still check this forum but I just wanted to say you're massively overpaying for the minoxidil. I know Belgravia add some other ingredient to their minoxidil, but £100 a month is daylight robbery. I just bought four months' supply of minoxidil from Boots for £33. if you decide to keep on using it, don't keep buying it from Belgravia, get it from Boots or Amazon or another shop instead.
Completely agree here, there's no way they can put anything (besides the minoxidil) in there that make it worth it. If you're appliying it to your scalp the result are only depending on how good/bad your skin will actually absorb it. If it's all about the budget for you try some cheaper ones (they are only different in how they will transport the monixidil to your hair follicles)
