Hi everyone, I’ve always shed a ton of hair, but lately i found out that some of them are shorter and sometimes thinner, some of them are long 3-4 cm and are very thin and blonde. I never look at my hair part, but to me it seems a bit wide. I googled it. Then I obviously panicked. I went to a dermatologist who looked at my scalp and told me that there’s nothing wrong (he said -if i remember correctly- that I have no black or yellow dots, every follicle produces more than one hair and something else I think). He also took some blood and it tourned out i have low iron (24) and it should be 60. I’m a bit scared to be honest, because losing all my hair before my 30th birthday isn’t really appealing. If I have androgenetic alopecia (my mother lost a bit of hair after menopause but it’s not noticeable, my father still has all of his hair) then i have it and i’ll find a way to manage this, but this uncertainity is driving me crazy. I’ll try to post some photos, could you give me your opinion? Could it be normal to lose some baby hair? Or ist a unmistakable sign of androgenetic alopecia? Thank you, and sorry for my mistakes (english is not my native language).
