    Hi everyone.

So my dermatologist prescribed 2.5 mg finasteride daily for my androgenic alopecia. I have yet to take it because I am only 20 years old and all the study I have found for women have been post menopausal. My dermatologist also said I have an increased risk of developing breast or ovarian cancer which kind of scared me off from taking. I am currently taking 200 mg of Spironolactone daily plus tri-ortho cyclen but I do not see any improvements from where I originally started at. I have developed dizziness and tremors that come and go which I am assuming is from the Spironolactone, I just got blood work which all came back normal so my dermatologist is still deciding what to do.

What has everyone experiences who is pre-menopausal been with finasteride?

Also, my dermatologist told me you cannot drink on finasteride but I have no found any studies regarding this either.
