Hello! So, my main indicators of PCOS are a flipped 2:1 LH/FSH ratio and elevated total testosterone, everything else (including free testosterone were in normal range). I was diagnosed based on this, put on Yaz THEN HAD HAIR LOSS. One doctor didn't think I had PCOS but now I went for a second opinion and they definitely think I have PCOS based on the hormonal issues noted above and the hair loss, but my issue is that I didn't have hair loss until I was being treated for PCOS. The other doctor just thought it was a coincidence, but I feel like the Yaz could be contributing to my hair issues, but I'm scared to get off of it because of my flipped LH/FSH ratio and elevated total testosterone could worsen it now that it's kicked in. The doctor said my hormones are what they are and won't change without medication. Is this true? Has anyone successfully normalized their LH/FSH ratio without medication? Thank you!
