Hi everyone, I am new here and suffering with hair loss.

I would like to know that even when my hemoglobin is quite high (150), can my ferritin still be too low? Should I try some iron supplements to see results? And what is the best one, that Ferrous fumarate?

    Thanks a lot for you.

You need to have your blood tested to know for sure, it is possible to have high hemoglobin and low ferritin. You shouldn't supplement with iron (especially not long term) without a Dr. supervising and having your blood checked to avoid iron overload which is very serious.

Yes, this can very well be the case. My hemoglobin has Always been normal high, and my ferritin was 7. Now my hemoglobin the same, but ferritin is around 70/80 (after more than a year). I took ferrofumaraat, 3 pills a day, prescribed by my dermatologist. Then after 9 months, I only need 1 a day to keep it at this level.
