hey, I'm suffering from alopecia areata and I visited a clinic which can give me 12.5% minoxidil. I know about the side effects and I'm scared of that but i'm scared of going ahead with something which may not even be right let alone work. anyone used it before and their stories on it...if it worked for them etc? thank you
all drugs have "two names" the chemical name, so to speak, which is what the drug IS (i.e. ibuprofen = motrin, advil, etc), and the brand name is the trademarked name a specific company that sells it gives it.
I have read that 12.5% minoxidil does have side effects, scalp redness, swelling infection, etc. have been reported. The 5% one may be better to start with to check for any adverse reactions. b.
