I advise you to do frizzy hair treatment. Because this is the best way to the hair loss treatment.
Update: still no results. Still getting worse. Been using Spironolactone and romaine since September now. I’ve been pretty consistent but will miss a few doses (3-4) a week (I’m a nursing and have weird work schedule). My question is, is missing doses this frequently why I’m not getting better and still getting worse? I’d think I’d be getting some results still with the amount I am using it. I feel like I’ve given up so much hope at this point and so horribly depressed. I can’t afford prp right now and I can’t wear hair I’m not to that point yet. I may try adding zin. I’ve also added nizoral shampoo about a month ago. Please help, I cry every night.
Hi Grace, I'm so sorry you're crying. I totally get it. Please go to the blog "Women's Hair Loss Project" and read and listen to the podcasts. This woman started losing her hair around the same age as you and has been dealing with it for at least 20 years. She and I both got our lives back when we got a topper. Get a topper. Use the meds too, but get some fake hair. It will help. Hugs
Everyone please read this. I have diffused hair loss since my teens and now I’m in 38. I started to rogain at 30 and although it did allow me to pass till now it’s now not working. I also get a lot of the scalp burning and pain that feels similar to when you have your hair in a tight pony tail all day. My follicles hurt and I know that means a big she’s is coming or is here. I’ve been losing my mind. But recently when I felt the pain I took fexofenadine (an I’ve the counter antihistamine non drowsy) in the morning and one in the evening 180mg each. And for the first time ever no pain!!! I’ve been finding so many medical studies about Alopecia Areata patients given this and their hair growing back. Please look this up. I think mine is diffused Androgenetic Alopecia since I have lots of black kinky pubic hairs now which I was told indicate age but this still worked for me.
Update: my doctor has prescribed me a a topical compound with finasteride in it. I’ve read good things about finasteride and hope it helps. If anyone has experience please let me know.
I'm on the same boat. My headline is getting worse day by day. Please help me if you can. I really need support.
Hi Gracek21, I sympathise with you. I’m also suffering from severe hair loss and it is quite stressful thinking about the next step after PCOS.
Anyway, I ended up looking for alternative remedies that might have a chance of helping my symptoms.
Now, I have resorted to herbal medicine, I came across this brand called GinSen and ordered Hair Growth Remedy Capsules. These tablets help nourish damaged hair, hair balding, and hair loss resulting from stress and hormone imbalance, anemia ( iron deficiency ), and after conceiving.
I am on my second bottle and have noticed a big difference, highly recommended!
