Periods back!

So I had been diagnosed with PCOS since I would never get my period unless I was taking birth control or progesterone pills to produce the withdrawal bleeding.

Anyway, last year I was borderline diabetic already my a1c was at 5.6! (I'm also hypothyroid). So I did away with the carbs :(
Started on thyroid medication this January to give me more energy and am able to work out more now. This combination has helped me a lot... for the past two months I have gotten my period without taking any medication, which has never happened before. I really don't work out every day either, just every other day as I read that working out helps with insulin sensitivity for the next 48 hairs.

Working with the insulin resistance has also helped with my oily hair. It doesn't get that oily the next day to where I have to wash it anymore. Also my hair doesn't shed as much either. I usually shed around 30-40hrs on the days that I wash. :)

    good luck to all!

    Mel
