I went to an appointment at a hair system salon to see if it'd be possible to start bonding my piece (I've been using clips so far).

The lady has told me that, because I have a lot of hair (androgenic alopecia), the bonding wouldn't work for me. But sewing would be an option.

I always thought that wouldn't be the best bet, and it doesn't sound very comfortable either.

    Does anyone use this method?

    Thanks in advance!

I have personal experience with this topic. About 18 years ago I too went to a salon and was told the same thing as you. They braided around my head very tightly and then sewed a topper on. I had to go back about every six weeks at most and then it done all over again. The result of that procedure was traction alopecia in the area of braiding. DO NOT go this route. I regret the day that I ever went to that salon and did it.
