Ladies, how long did this last for you? My baby is 7 months and it's still coming out

I can't remember how long mine fell out for. I know it started around 4 months and it wasn't till my baby was at least a year that it started filling in again. I breastfed until 16 months, so I don't know how that affects it. Hope it's not much longer for you! Have you checked your hormones? Are you treating at all right now?

I had a look today and new hair is coming in but the amount that falls out when I wash it is horrible. I know it could be worse as it's not handfuls but i feel like crying when I clean the plug hole!! I started hair essentials 5 weeks ago and will check my hormones in a few months time as I've only recently got my period back so I'm waiting for them to settle.

If you've only recently gotten your period back I think it might still be a little while before your shedding settles. My OBGYN told me that she regularly sees people who have been postpartum shedding for a year.
