Someone on realself.com asked a question about the effectiveness of different hair loss treatments in women. One of the doctors that responded said "Minoxidil only works in 40% of patients because of the necessity the medication to be metabolized by sulfotranferase.. Only 40% of the population have this enzyme."

Has anyone else come across that?

He also recommended the new herbal product Qilib. I hadn't heard of that either.

I'd never heard of Qilib or the enzyme the doctor mentioned! I looked up Qilib... it is just a minoxidil product.

They have a separate herbal product you can buy, but I read that it removes color from your roots if you dye your hair so I'm not going to use it.
