    Hi Cindy,
There is a Dr. Redmond in New York who specializes in hair loss, but he is an Endocrinologist, not a dermatologist.. Not sure if that helps at all?
Also I can’t personally vouch for him. I’ve never seen him, just have heard a lot about him. Might be worth looking into?
I WISH so bad I could go see Dr. Donovan!
How did you like your visit with Dr. Donovan?

I actually saw Dr. Redmond in NYC he recomended Spironolactone and finasteride but that regimen is not working for me. Donovan it’s great but unfortunately he is in Canada and I’m in the USA so he can’t prescribe meds if you live outside of Canada so I don’t plan on going back to him for that reason.

Cindy, what did Dr Donovan prescribe for you? And, is he endo or dermo, or...? I'd like to visit someone who knows about all areas that lead to hair loss, like Paul Nola in New Zealand. Now that's far away....;)

I think it’s better if you try to book an appointment online they reply soon. And to answer your previous question he recommended spironolactone and oral minoxidil. I can send you a picture of his treatment plan my email is cindymch1503@hotmail.com. However, keep in mind that treatment plan varies depending on the patient.

Hi all, Dr. Donovan definitely sounds great, but he's so expensive!

I also saw that someone on this forum recommended Hasson and Wong clinic, in Vancouver (apparently Canada has the best peeps!), and they charge $100/consultation, and are apparently very reknowned in their field (apparently they consult with women/hair loss/meds, not only transplants). They recommended a similar 'cocktail' of drugs to someone else on this forum, Cindy...(Spironolactone and oral M)...

Why would they be so much less expensive? Does anyone have experience with them?

Just trying to ascertain whether I should spend the money for Donovan, if these guys can do the same stuff...Hmmm....! Thanks for advice.

I think if the doctor doctor it’s a hair loss specialist also I would try them first before paying for Donovan.
