I am wondering I this is regrowth or progression. I don’t want to start rogaine for a little longer because my hair has come back from extreme damage and post pregnancy hair loss. Shedding stopped about two months ago. I was under extreme stress for months at work. And thyroid meds had been adjusted several times. Thinking te on top of Androgenetic Alopecia, hoping to get the te loss back...

I wet my hair to show the sticky up hairs I have the most on top of head but there are a decent amount on the sides too when I part there.

Anyone? I guess not good since no reply. I plan on posting more pics in a few months to see if there is a difference either way.

I hope. I am starting to get depressed about it. It never looks good down anymore. It has no weight and just poofs up... it’s curly. It was fine in February and then by April thinned out. I am trying to be patient because my hair has recovered somewhat before, but I feel so ugly. I feel like my body has given up in many ways. I am approaching 34 and can feel time.

Pretty sure it’s getting worse. I seems as though it might be growing, but I think it just receding further. Look at this temple! August vs today.

My hair has grown a little in overall length, but still looks like a shell of what it was just a year ago... which wasn’t even that great. I feel so bad when i think about it. I try to forget but then when I want to look nice I realize I have to deal with the pile of bleep on my head.

Sorry for complaining the friends I have talked to about it are sick of hearing about it, I mean what can they do?

Hi sunshine. Mine looks like yours. And I wonder the same thing about me! If you just stopped shedding only 2 months ago I think you might not expect substantial regrowth just yet. Maybe another month or 2. My derm says don’t focus on the regrowth, focus on the shedding.

It has been 4 months since worst shedding stopped. I really don’t the regrowth I hoped for! Hair has never looked worse than now. It looked fine a year ago. It makes me sad. I feel embarrassed to even wear it down. It is super curly, but actually looks better when I get t blown out and curled . Too bad I can’t do it myself and it damages my hair

Honestly not sure if it is really better or grabbing hair in different way.

Same day different amount of hair grab.

Not seeing improvement really on thickness at ends. My hair seems pretty thick at top and middle but once it gets to shoulder blades it is thin. I just wish it would thicken up...how long should it take if it’s gonna happen at all? It’s been 6 months since I noticed the thinning( again). It has done this before but recall to improving more quickly.

    It looks great!!
You mentioned previously you were thinking it was TE on top of androgenetic alopecia?
    Do you still think that?
What if anything have you done now or in the past for regrowth?
Did you have high shedding at any point??
Sorry for all the questions. I have TE with high shedding right now. I also have androgenetic alopecia, but am hoping I will at least recover what I’m losing from the TE shed.

Nothing really. I stopped dying it and putting heat on it. One time it was from damage after my Daughter it was TD and just seem to grow back. I do think that being healthy probably helps I find that the skinnier I am the thinner my hair is and I am not under we really but I am small

Thanks! I am pretty sure it is about the sAme. Although I did cut a lot off so what I have actually looks better. It’s just not how I am used to it being.

I haven’t had massive shedding in quite awhile. I don’t notice my drain being clogged ever few days, but I do find hairs all over the place. But I always did, even before hair loss.
