How many months postpartum are you? Thus sounds like postpartum thyroiditis to me. Is your neck tender by chance?

One of my friends had pp thyroiditis. Your symptoms seem nearly identical. I will email and ask her how long hers lasted and how they treated it.

Just heard back from her: She said that her symptoms lasted quite a while, but peaked around 9 months pp. Her thyroid did return to a more normal size. About a year after it was "over" they retested her and she was hypo. She has been on thyroid medication since then. I asked if she ever tested positive for antibodies and she said that she doesn't think so.
