    Dear Dr. Bauman,

I had a hairline lowering browlift in February 2006 and in June 2006 I started to have a massive shed. The shed stopped after about two months but I'm left with a see-through hairline for at least an inch back from the incision. I see hundreds of tiny hairs, about the same length popping up but not enough to give adequate coverage.

My question to you is, how long should I wait to see if these new hairs replace the old ones? Do incision lines always cause nearby thinning?
Would a hair transplant be possible to increase density along the hairline? Thank you very much. bb
